Wash your face twice a day.

Clean, soft skin makes you look and feel healthier. With so many different skin types and conditions, there is no one perfect routine to address every skin problem. However, basic skin care will keep your epidermis in optimum condition. Whether preparing for a business meeting or a private intimate moment, have sparkling, good-smelling skin to make the best impression. Daily skin maintenance may help deter the signs of aging, too.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Body cleansing scrub
  • Loofah pad
  • Facial cleanser
  • Washcloth
  • Body moisturizer
  • Facial moisturizer

    Daily Cleaning

  1. 1

Step into your shower. Exfoliate your skin with a cleansing scrub and a loofah. Squirt a quarter-sized amount of scrub onto the loofah pad.

  2. 2

Rub the loofah across your legs, arms and torso for a few minutes. This removes dead skin cells and soil from your skin. Rinse the scrub from your body completely.

  3. 3

Wet your face. Squirt a dime-sized amount of facial cleanser onto a clean damp washcloth.

  4. 4

Rub the cleanser into your skin in small circular movements. Start at your forehead and work your way down to your neck. Avoid getting the soap in your eyes. Scrub your skin for one minute. Rinse the cleanser from your face completely.

  5. Moisturizing

  6. 1

Moisturize your skin daily with a product that contains vitamin E. Squirt a quarter-sized amount into the palm of your hand. Start at your feet and moisturize your entire body by rubbing the product into your skin.

  7. 2

Squirt more lotion as you need to moisturize and soften your skin.

  8. 3

Apply a facial moisturizer to your face. Do not use body moisturizer on your face. Body moisturizers sometimes contain fats that cause breakouts. Squirt a dime-sized amount of moisturizer into your palm. Rub it into your face, avoiding your eyes..
